Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and keep you logged in between visits. We also use similar browser storage (localStorage) for some settings.

How Reviewl uses cookies

We keep our cookie usage minimal and purposeful. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics cookies that share your data with advertisers.

Essential cookies

The cookies listed above are all essential. They are required for the platform to function — for example, to keep you signed in while you use the dashboard. Without them, the Service cannot work.

Under UK and EU law, we do not need your consent to set essential cookies. However, we still inform you about them for transparency.

No advertising or tracking cookies

Reviewl does not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not share your browsing behaviour with any advertising network.

Review request email tracking

When review request emails are sent to your customers on your behalf, those emails may contain:

  • A 1×1 invisible tracking pixel — this tells us when the email was opened
  • Unique click links — these record when a customer clicked a review link

This tracking is server-side and does not set cookies on your customers’ devices. The data is used solely to provide you with analytics in your Reviewl dashboard.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View cookies that are stored
  • Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
  • Delete cookies when you close your browser

Note that if you delete or block essential cookies, you will be logged out and the platform may not function correctly.

For guidance on managing cookies in your browser, visit allaboutcookies.org.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the platform evolves. We will reflect any changes here with an updated date.
