Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Reviewl (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you (the business account holder) and Reviewl.

Reviewl is a review automation platform that enables businesses to send review request emails to their customers, track engagement, and manage review campaigns across platforms such as Google Reviews and Trustpilot.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to enter into contracts in your jurisdiction.

You agree to use Reviewl only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Send unsolicited emails to people who have not done business with you
• Offer incentives (money, discounts, gifts) in exchange for reviews — this violates the terms of most review platforms
• Manipulate or fabricate reviews
• Upload data you do not have the right to use
• Use the Service to harass, intimidate, or spam recipients
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service
• Resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension.

When you upload customer names and emails to Reviewl, you confirm that:

• You have a legitimate reason to contact these individuals (e.g., they are past customers)
• You comply with applicable email marketing laws, including the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and GDPR where applicable
• You will provide customers with a way to opt out of further emails (our unsubscribe link satisfies this)

You are the data controller for your customers’ data. Reviewl acts as a data processor on your behalf.

Reviewl offers paid plans billed monthly. You will be charged at the start of each billing period. All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not offer refunds for partial months.

Free trial periods are available as described on our pricing page. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days’ notice.

Reviewl retains all rights to the platform, software, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your business purposes.

You retain all rights to your business data and customer data uploaded to the platform.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that emails will be delivered.

We are not responsible for reviews left (or not left) by your customers as a result of using the Service. Review platform policies are outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reviewl’s total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.

On termination, your access to the Service will end and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the platform at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
